I dunno, I liked the NS shotgun and how it looked kinda thin and shit but still packed a punch. This one looks rather bulky from first person view.

it sounds like a cannon, and if it's anything like the fade-killing machine from ns1 then it's rightfully so. the NS1 shotgun spread was pretty ridiculous at longer ranges (it went everywhere) so I'm not concerned about that.

whether or not the magic materializing shotgun shells were intentional (NANITES), it doesn't bother me too much ;D

Also, to be honest at the moment I think the shape of the guns are too similar (Both Bulky), compared to the contrast of them in NS.  Might be hard to tell as an alien what gun they have?

We tweaked the shotgun sounds from your feedback btw. It's now got a hint of mechanical/sci-fi to it and has more "umph". Thanks! #fb

Thats all well and good, but it doesnt fix the model issue sad . Which I dont think will get changed.

Well NS1 was locked because alien FOV changed when you evolved, so if they do that again it will probably follow suit.

view models aren't going to be turned off since they're clearly going for having all the ammo counters on the weapons

it was awesome how they got rid of the ability to turn off viewmodels since having the skulk's view obscured with every attack was apparently a feature.

no clearly I want to play a game with 40 fov and viewmodels taking up a stupid amount of the screen like they do in the pictures shown

See, the reason why you all suck at life so much is because you cant turn off things like glare or wind, nor can you get rid of things that obscure your view or brighten darkened areas with a text command.
